I was talking with my friends last Friday, and one of them told me that every blogger who loves her subscribers should put up a naked palette giveaway. I was dubious of the idea, but then I had a naked palette on hand, given to me by my SO. He thought that I would love the palette, since it's so craved by the beauty world (yes, he heard it from guy friends), and I was touched by his effort. However, as I opened it, my craving was killed, because it just wasn't "naked" enough for me. It's more neutral than naked, and I kind of prefer a natural polished look. Also, because I work in law, I don't have the luxury of wearing even a neutral look too often. Therefore, I'm doing a blog giveaway on this palette.
(btw, just in case you are wondering, SO gave his whole hearted permission for me to give away this palette)
The palette is brand new. It has been opened, but not touched.
Rules of the Giveaway:
1. Be a subscriber to this blog
2. Please comment to this thread and tell me what kind of articles you would like to see more on this blog.
3. Please post something about this giveaway on one website(it can be your blog, a makeup site you go to, twitter, etc.) , and supply the link in your comment. Thank you!
The Giveaway ends 2 weeks from now. I will choose a winner through random.org and once I announce the results, please give me your address within 4 days. If I do not receive word from you, I will choose another winner through random.org
Thank you! If this goes well, I'll do a ripe peach one next time :)
honestly, i love your blogs! i went through all your entries since i've subscribed to it <3. I think so far, i would love to see more reviews on korean brands and swatches.
ReplyDeleteKorean makeup and skincare products can be tricky to find. I would love to see recommendations of available sites/stores that carry the products you mention :). I also agree with the above poster that more swatches would be awesome.
ReplyDeleteHiya! I love your blog already as it is, but I would really like to see more castledew articles, since it seems like a cheap brand with great quality! You compared it to MAC, right?
ReplyDeleteHe heard from his guy friends???? NO WAY!! If I told him I want to get Naked, he'd make a "In bed" joke, lol. To him, eyelash curlers are eye ball scooper and mascaras are the sharp things you poke your eyes with. Your SO is sweet!
ReplyDeleteAnyway, not sure how available Japanese make up is in Korea but I would like both Korean and Japanese make up reviews. I always heard good things about Asian skin care products like facial masks and such. I hope to oneday achieve flawless skin :)
I'd like to see more posts regarding Asian skincare stuff, like masks, moisturizers and such, as where as makeup!
ReplyDeleteId love to see a blog series about the quest for the perfect foundation!
ReplyDeleteI would like to see more stuff about asian base makeup and also asian skin care.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the giveaway!
Hi Cathy :)

I love getting Asian makeup, but I usually have to buy it while there. I'd love if you could supply your readers with reviews and then WHERE on the internet they could buy it, if it's something only available in Asia (for US readers like me!).

Hi Cathy, I'm pretty new to your blog, but I was referred to it through soompi. Since then, I have read nearly every single entry ^_^ I love that you are so skincare oriented and I think it's SOOO nice that you would CP stuff from Korea for you subscribers :) AND you almost always respond to your subscribers' questions! -Seriously, nicest blogger ever. Anyways, I am definitely loving what you're doing with your skincare posts and I think you should stick with that as your main focus as well as Asian products because it would really give your blog a very unique direction. Also, it is very hard to find good blog reviews and posts about Asian skincare/cosmetic products, so it would be really nice to see you do more indepth reviews/posts about them (and if you can, with pictures pleaseee ^_^) It also seems that everyone else commenting here is agreeing with the skincare/asian cosmetics idea :)
